KILBY PACKAGING HAVE BEEN PRINTING ADHESIVE TAPE FOR OVER 30 YEARS. Ongoing investment in the most modern machinery guarantees short production times for large volumes of printed tape but also allows for short runs as low as 45 rolls.

PRINTED TAPE MATERIAL

Polypropylene Printed Tape is the standard and most popular type of printed packaging tape. This tape is high gloss; bright white or transparent and has a hot melt adhesive. Vinyl Printed Tape is a premium low noise packaging tape which can be torn by hand and has a solvent adhesive. Available tape colours are white, transparent, yellow and red. Paper Tape is a environmentally friendly alternative and can be stylishly printed in black with a maximum ink coverage of approximately 30%.

PRINTING COLOURS

Polypropylene tape can be printed with up to three colours. Our standard pantone colours are Black, Grey (8), Blue (289), Reflex Blue, Green (354), Green (356), Yellow, Orange (021) Red (032), Red (485), Purple (268).

Vinyl tape can be printed with up to three colours. Our standard pantone colours are Black, Blue (2746), Green (370), Yellow, Orange (021) and Red (032), Red (485) and Grey(8).

Pantone matched colours are available but may be subject to an increased cost.

SIZE

The most popular sizes of printed tape are 48mm x 66metres, 48mm x 132m, 72mm x 66m. Other sizes of printed tape, ranging from 12mm to 192mm wide and 5m to 990m long, are available. The minimum order quantity is just 45 rolls for the most popular size of printed tape - 48mmx66m.

ARTWORK

It is important that printing stereos are created from good artwork. Our preferred format for logos and text is an Adobe Illustrator file (ai) but we can work with any format. If you have not decided on the design for your printed tape it is worth considering that it is often the simple designs that are the most effective.

There is an artwork and stereo charge on your first order for printed tape which will be dependent upon the number of print colours you choose.
